Kind of weird to make this post on FB for help. I’m sure he could call anyone in his phone for help or call a roofer, he can afford it.

Bought a full self drive Tesla for wife. It was so easy, no haggling, the price is the price. Sales people don’t make commission. It was refreshing not to leave pissed 3 hours after arguing over price.

It shows how corrupt LA is with them not allowing Tesla to sell directly to the consumer.

I just looked. A new Tahoe Premier is about 80-82k Found a 2023 with 22k miles for 59k A new F150 XLT is 55-60k Found a 2025 with 28k miles for 44k I mean it looks like its still the case to me I'll take 10-15k off to buy a gently used vehicle

2027 tahoes are about to come out so yea 4 years old and barely any warranty left. Also, you have to compare interest rates if you’re financing.

For example, for an f-150, they do 0% all the time. Im not going look up the current specials, but all I’m saying is it’s not close to what it used to be.

You also have to weigh how much more would you get for the vehicle when you sold it.

Buying a new car at any point is a bad idea, unless you have unlimited money to blow. Cannot understand taking an immediate 5-10k loss as soon as you leave the lot.

This is old school way of thinking. Unless it’s a luxury car like bmw, Audi, etc, you are definitely not losing that much driving off the lot like before.
Inventory on cars isn’t near what it used to be. If they have something on the lot, there is a much better chance they sell it than someone having to order something. They also know it’s a hassle to drive out of state and then come back here and register it. You have to weigh that headache with buying local. Most people are spending 60k+ on a vehicle but will drive out of state to “save $500-1k”

Now if it’s Baton Rouge vs New Orleans or Hammond, I would be surprised that they wouldn’t match.

They also know if they advertise the low price you are trying to get them to match, they could sell it within the week.
It has now come out that the driver manually overrode the autopilot by pressing the accelerator to 100%.

So the driver tells the cops the car was on auto pilot when it crashed into the house and you claim it is fake news?

Again, you’re just feeding into the fake news. Auto pilot is NOT full self drive!
Fake news trying to scare people. This is like cruise control on a Tesla. This is not the full self drive that drives better than 99% of people.

Swimming around Marinas can definitely be dangerous. People always dumping food so it draws more visitors. In Louisiana, it’s Gators.
We used them to fly to Minnesota. They were fine, nothing special.

Help fixing Acura in Baton Rouge

Posted by LSU1018 on 5/27/26 at 8:22 pm
My daughter has a 2014 Acura RLX. The electric parking brake control module went out on the car and was draining the battery, I bought a used one off eBay that fits the car but it has to be programmed by Acura or someone that can program those cars. Does anyone happen to know anyone that I could pay to program it to fit the car?
I think they would do better making it 18 to get in and serving topless.

People will never see hooters as family friendly.
Prior to Liv, purses were in the 400M range. Now, it’s probably more than twice that.

It shouldn’t take competition to force you to manage something properly.
The players on tour should be thankful for Liv golf. Before Liv, the tour was keeping way more of the money. All of a sudden, the tour found all this extra prize money to pay out.

I doubt Phil is ever allowed back.
I doubt title insurance would help in this situation. He still owns the land. I’m sure if he looks at his sale, the title company probably described the land fine in the sale.

The reality is many people should get a survey before buying property but nobody wants to pay for that.
It’s better than showing up late

I think early mornings are the worst bc people for 9:30 flights are showing up for 6.
He may have saved 3% but he may have also sold it for 5% less than he could have got.

Not saying he needs an agent but pricing it right is a big part.
Not all title insurance underwriters will consider this method free and clear if they didn’t give Mennonite notice.
Supposedly this place had just added a restaurant or something that was attached. I’m wondering if it has something to do with that.
