Well we know it's definitely not going to be LSU

Not really, I expect, along with most CFB fans, the SEC will be between UGA and Bama. My dark horse is LSU, but I wouldn’t bet on them, unLes Miles was thier Coach.

You do realize that Jalen most likely is transferring within the next couple of months. No one in the entire state is second guessing whose next year starter is going to be. Every year Alabama has competition at every position this is how saban coachs, being an LSU fan I would think you would know that by now. Also seems to have worked out pretty well for Saban so for since idk 5 out of 9 since 2008.

It’s understandable that Aub fans in the state aren’t second guessing Ala replacing last year’s starter.

Bruh missouri lost to a weak Texas team. I would like to have some of that green you smoking.

It’s a 3 horse race with Bama as a significant favorite.
Not sold on Bama being that dominant this season ... which doesn't mean they cannot, or will not, roll to an undefeated season ... but, at the same time they could easily lose a couple.
Not sold on UGA dominating the East either but their game in Columbia, second week of the season, will tell us a lot more about their chances.
Auburn is due.
Not sold on Miss State although I believe they are going to be very good led by the best QB in the league this year in Fitz but I still wonder about their D and their RBs and QB.
LSU could cause some disruption ... they've got the talent.
SC could cause some disruption ... all depends on that UGA game at home. We're still a year away from really being dangerous.
Mizzou will be a trap game for someone in the East as will A&M in the West. Anyone who overlooks Ole Miss at their place is asking for an arse kicking. And never underestimate Chad Morris ... he is going to hurt someone's feelings this year at Arkansas. Just like Pruitt will win one at Tennessee he is not supposed to win. Mullen at UF is the real wild card in the East ... a solid pick to finish third in the East but he may ruin someone's season in the West in the process because he knows those teams best.
It's gonna be an interesting season.

We've lost "a couple" regular season games 1 time in 10 years

Hey SummerOfGeorge, you still in Brookhaven? I have stopped at the Krystal and Dairy Queen on Brookway Blvd a thousand times while driving back and fourth from Ms and La.

So?
You do understand, if I am not mistaken you've even poo poo'd the idea before, that there are no transitive properties applicable to college football. Do you not George?

lol of course it never dawned on me there could be more than one Brookhaven. I had a brain fart.

My point is that it is theoretically possible, but the odds of it are not high. With our schedule, roster, etc......for this to be the year we lose 2 or 3 games would be quite a shock.
But it's theoretically possible.
