I think the Smart money is on UGA, but....
they do lose a lot of experience with this class, like 1/3 of the roster. And that doesn't even speak to underclass men that decide to leave early.
On the flip side, their 2018 class is monstrous.

After the Kentucky and Clemson games last year I'm not sure having a loud and pumped Willy B is as helpful to us as it should be.

Our 2017 class was #3.

We have a lot of built in depth. Yes, we lose a lot. You are right. It would be silly not to admit this.
Roquan Smith, Lorenzo carter, Davin Bellamy, Sanders all made huge plays for us over and over. But, we have a lot coming back, or probably coming back. Our areas of concern would be secondary and LBs on defense, but we have a lot of quality young LB's that got a lot of playing time. Secondary is my major area of concern.

This is kind of my point. Talent is unmistakable. The unknown is chemistry. How do the new players gel with each other. It could be better, or it could be worse. Nobody will know until next fall. That's what makes it fun.

I think the crowd is going to be far more pumped for this game than either game you mentioned from last year. First SEC game of the year, almost definitely a night game, we should be ranked...I think the level of intensity will be ramped up a couple of notches and the guys should be pumped.

Now go back to that link and count how many of those Seniors never saw the field this year. Nevermind, I'll help you...12 of of the 27 weren't starters or even contributors to this years team.So that drops it to about 17% of our roster.

Incorrect. That list includes all of the walkons. There are 131 players on that list.
