At the halfway point of the season, here is your Dan-handling update:

Chizik, Dooley, and Joker are in the top five.
With the obvious exception of John L. Smith, I don't think any of the remaining opponents' coaches will be Dan-handled, even when State beats them.

To summarize, Phillips, Dooley, Smith, and Chizik--all of the SEC coaches that Mullen beat--were all Dan-handled. The message: Lose to Dan in the SEC and lose your job.
Freeze should be thankful that Dan is letting him hang around for a while longer following that aberrant Egg Bowl performance.

This seems accurate. A lot of coaches taken down this year by Mullen.

Or State plays 8 SEC teams a year and coaches are walking in and out on a revolving door down here.

Agreed. And, since someone has been Dan-handled every year, there is a 100% chance that Miles will be Dan-handled. It's just math.

Yeah...can't argue with the numbers. Sorry Miles. I may start a speculative thread on who will be the next HC for LSU just to get a jump on things.
