Again, I am not saying that Mett had a bad 2013. He was most certainly above average.

Then what's your point? 3,000 yds in a season is absurd for a Les Miles QB.

Edit: I seriously doubt Beckham and Landry both reach 1,000 yds or even one of them if Anthony Jennings was there QB so yes, Mett does factor into the equation.

yeah, remember how jenning's was gonna be your hero last season?

actually no one remembers that and no one ever thought he would be

the rest of us certainly do

no you really don't

after LSU lost Mettenberger, Hill, Beckham, and Landry, anyone with a brain expected LSU's offense to take a HUGE step back. Literally the only prediction you saw on here was LSU would be ok at running back because of Fournette, and they were.

Mett: 171

yes, yes, i do. he made a miraculous play to beat us the season before- you know our what 3-9 or 4-8 team that big bad lsu needed a last minute play to beat.

from that moment on he was anointed your hero.

My point was y'all suck Mett's dick over 2013 when, in reality, he wasn't that great.

He was the third best QB in the West in 2013, maybe fourth.

Mett had Jarvis Landry and OBJ to throw to and our best receiver at times was a TE

State.

Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, and LSU will be 1-4, in whatever order.

Ole Miss, aTm, and State will be 5-7, in whatever order.

Not a chance Arkansas finishes last, IMO.

I never saw any LSU fans go apeshit over starting Jennings in 2014.

I have no idea what that Pig is referencing.

My guess for the last place team would be in this order:

Ark- they will be improved and should be able to win more than previous years but I don't really know for sure. prove it on the field for an entire season, 2 sec wins in 2 years means you're last until proven otherwise.

Ole Miss and MSST tied for the next slot

TAMU and LSU would be surprised

Au - nope.

Bama not a chance.

So met was marginally better than an average SEC quarterback in 2013 yet y'all suck his cock at every turn?

Oh, wait, maybe y'all are just that offense-deprived.

show me any post where anyone anointed him a hero? he followed up that one drive against arkansas with a sub 100 yard performance in the bowl game. you're full of shite, bud. no one thought jennings was going to be a hero. people were hopeful he might be serviceable at best

Mettenberger had a good 2013, but let's not act like it was some absurd season.

Exactly. They beat their chests about that offense even though it wasn't even in the top 20 nationally for points per game. So it gained a ton a yards, yay.

Honestly anytime that 2013 team gets brought up as some example of an elite offense it just reminds me that LSU fans don't know what an elite offense is because they never had one and their elite defense would crush the ones they encountered into an unrecognizable state.
