Arkansas is going to be an 8 seed with the reigning SEC POY, Qualls, Beard, Bell, Kingsley, Watkins, Durham, and Williams all returning and another top 25 class incoming...mmmkay

You seem to be one of the more reasonable posters in this thread. I couldn't begin to predict SEC tournament teams beyond Kentucky and maybe Florida.

Kentucky, Arkansas will probably finish 1 & 2 in the league again.

Florida has some work to do

He said 8 seed instead of 1 seed, that is reasonable compared to these LSU predictions.

That's about the only thing that would get Kennedy and Hyman fired.

When are Portis and Qualls announcing? If they come back I agree, but if they leave, Arky might finish 5th or 6th.

Yea but we all know what LSU typically does with elite talent.

Develop it? I agree.

These are the highest rated players I got LSU since Randolph, Shaq and the infamous Lester Earl.

LSU being a 2 seed is possible. Just like Msu finishing last is possible and likely

South Carolina as a 10 seed or a play-in 11 seed.

Possible, sure, but predicting it for a team that exited in the first round and lost to a team that you're predicting to finish last in the SEC is a bit ambitious.

MSU returns everyone to a team that didn't finish last under an incompetent coach. The Same team returns everyone who beat LSU and just hired a hell of a coach. Not to mention if we land Newman and Kasongo.

Stick to football because you obviously suck at this basketballing stuff.

Not sure if they will. Off season workouts have started and they're both part of everything.

Seems as though they'll be back. As of now.

If they come back, I'd pick Arky to win the SEC. Assuming Towns, WCS, Booker, and one or two more go pro.

I love how our fans place insanely high expectations on a group of players that haven't even made it to campus yet then throw a motherfricking bitchfit when those expectations aren't met. How about you let them play a few games before you say two seed or put them in the final four.

Because you have one of the worst coaches in the SEC

Well, we did lose to some teams we should have beaten (Auburn, MSU, Mizzou, maybe A&M, Tenn.)

But we also defeated West Virginia, Massachusetts,
Arkansas, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida, Vanderbilt.
And we were inches away from beating unbeaten #1 Kentucky. We also very nearly made it to the round of 32 against NC State, but blew a big lead.

If there's one thing Jones can improve on, it's teaching his team to hold a lead and put teams away, esp. ones he should beat.

I don't think Jones is one of the worst coaches. He's not one of the best either, but give the man SOME credit....and a little time...

Hogs would probably be a favorite no doubt, especially with two Top 75 guys coming in this recruiting cycle.

I was never THAT high on victor in hs but he is going to fill an important need. I think he's a better storm warren

Would have been a nice thread if not for the OP choosing to delve out seeds

And a lot of ppl ITT will be disappointed when newman signs with LSU IMHO FWIW

Vandy
Arky
UF (esp. if Donovan stays)
Bama
LSU

Darkhorses: Ole Miss, UGA, Auburn
