Well we can agree to disagree there. Jones knows what it takes to get to a final four. He started as a PG for one, and coach as assistant for 2 others. That's more than most coaches in the SEC can say.

Being a player in the final four helps your coaching?

You know who he sounds like? Tony Barbee?

You do realize you're about to fall to like 5-7th ranked class right? Still phenomenal class for such a small product to show for. Once the big basketball schools load up its inevitable. LSU with Malik Newman would jump to #1, but likely for only a few hours until Coach Cal does what he does best.

I'd say LSU finishes with Newman and Kasongo/Sampson, but ends up #3 or #4 overall.

Briscoe is #1 PG...anyway, the twins are gone, Newman will probably end up in Lexington.

I think Newman really wants to play with Simmons and Blakney.

No, he's already done that. I mean he'll just close like he always does.

.

We have an elite class coming in and a headed by a special player.

Now, a 2 seed is kind of stretching it, but we will be very good.

We will win a lot of games.

Well, I can say Newman wants to play with Briscoe, Skahl, and Matthews. Go ahead and add Zimmerman to the list as well.

Did you even watch Benny the past couple days in his HS tourney?
.

You mean when he won the national championship (against a stacked Oak Hill team) for the third time in a row and was the MVP (20 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists) after getting smoked in the eye and missing 7 minutes. That tournament?

Kind of like ya'll over hyping Josh Grey last year.

UK
UF
LSU
VU
Arky
A&M

UGA is one of the in between teams. Could make the dance or grab a high seed in the NIT. Same can be said for OM and Carolina. I think AU makes some noise this year and starts to take significant strides in year 2. Especially with the incoming class.

It's hard to say what's going to happen with State, UT, and Bama. I think they'll all grab some games they're not favored in next year, but I can't do anything more than take the I'll believe it when I see it approach. I do expect all 3 to have decent seasons given the circumstances but little else. Crazier things have happened though.

Missouri is way out in no man's land.

Overall, I think we'll end up being the most improved conference next year if not the year after.

Did this easier with someone.

Can you even name the type of offense jones runs? Or do you know anything about his coaching philosophies?

If not, your criticism is unwarranted and it makes you look ignorant.

the results on the court speak for themselves with him.

I'd take him over Grant, but just barely.

Well I also think his mom being in La will help as well, wildcat.

Plus while I don't think he is a true PG, he'd battle Ullis and bristle for PG Time. Which is where he wants to play. Kind of hard for brisco to sell "come play with me AND challenge me for minutes."

Just my opinion though.

Ftr LSU fans won't melt if we don't get malik. We return all our guards, but malik is more like icing on the cake.

Also I still say he goes to UK, but I've got some hope Johnny Jones will seal the deal.
