love the guy, but it is Leach. Being your own man at an American institution of higher learning is pretty much impossible in 2020. But State will be my second favorite SEC team as long as he lasts. Long live the Pirate.

I don’t think people realize how conservative MSU is. Least it was when I went there 8 years ago. I don’t think he gets canned for his comments

Do not forget that any coaches in the SEC would be fired for not reporting and getting it done the right way for off the the field behavior.

It definitely was liberal then too.

You may have missed it since the student body is pretty diverse and there’s people of all different political opinions walking around. I can definitely see how you’d get that depending on the crowd you hung with and the bars you went to, but MSU is probably in the top 5 most liberal schools in the SEC.

Keenum, Cohen, the professors, etc all tend to lean towards the left - some a lot more than others.

If you did polling, the student body is probably more aligned with Mizzou than LSU or Auburn.

MSU historically has existed juxtaposed against Ole Miss, which until the past 20 years wasn’t exactly what you’d call “liberal”. The schools have balanced out recently though.

Why would he do that when he is trying to get his reputation back?

Johnson we finally agree on something. MSU is not conservative. On top of the University, the Mayor of Starkville is a lesbian. The Golden Triangle is going ghetto. It's a shell of what it used to be.

So? What’s wrong with that?

Starkville is a lot more safe (relative to population) now than it was when I was there.

Kiffin. Why? The bar is really low at LSU and State. They will let anything go. Ole Miss? We fired a coach for getting a massage. His only bad boy behavior was not using a burner phone. We set a HIGH bar. Lol...

How can anyone prove that o had any idea that a rape actually occurred? There was no police involved in this at all. Now, 4 years later after guice is a millionaire and has a domestic charge, a rape allegedly occurred 4 years ago and coach O knew about it? Good luck proving that. This sounds like alot of bullshite to me, LSU fan or not. Let's not act like men with money, power, and fame don't get accused of bogus shite all the time bc they absolutely do. Even if guice ends up being charged, convicted and sent to prison like he should if it's true and proven to be, there's no way in hell you can prove that o knew anything about a rape occurring. That's just bullshite. He may have heard rumors of the other players girlfriend having a sexual encounter with guice through the grapevine and word of mouth, but to say that he knew it was a rape and covered it up is just assinine. From what I have heard o told the player, whose girlfriend is the one alleging guice raped her now 4 years later, "not to worry about it and to let it go bc alot of people's girlfriends cheat on their boyfriends" he said nothing about a rape and he only addressed what he had heard of the guys girlfriend sleeping with guice. No police were even notified, so how exactly did he cover up a rape? Like someone would not report a rape bc a coach said so anyway even if one had been heard telling them to? Get real man. O will be fine. He didn't know anything about a rape accusation.

Come on dude. Starkville is no liberal oasis in a sea of red. That’s just BS. You went to school there and you know it. In Mississippi, Oxford is considered a liberal cesspool among conservatives while nationally it is considered a conservative cesspool among liberals. Starkville can’t WAOM better than that and that’s just how it is. Perception is reality and is relative.

Leech. Kiffin will leave for greener pastures and Orgeron will stay until LSU fires him.
