To me this is a much more interesting question, assuming Ohio St. and Clempson win out.

Then sec gets two teams in.
LSU Georgia.

Oregon has a championship so LSU is left out. Try again next year.

Really depends on how everything else works out. If Oregon or Utah win the PAC-12 with one loss or if you have a one loss Minnesota or Ohio State sitting there shite would get interesting

Conference champions play a small part in deciding. Read the criteria. I did.

Won't happen. We won't be losing to Georgia of all teams

Well the best team would be LSU. But the most deserving would be the PAC 12 conference champ.
The committee says they choose the “best” but that hasn’t been the case.
The only way a major 1 loss conference champ gets left out is for another 1 loss conference champ. I don’t see them putting in a conference loser over a 1 loss conference champ.
These guys are pushed to include as many conferences as possible unless it’s too obvious a team shouldn’t be in. Example Ohio state with two bad loses two years ago.

It would be:
OSU
Clemson
UGA
LSU
OSU
Clemson
UGA
LSU

No team has ever gotten in with 2 losses. They had 1 loss and got in over 2 loss PSU, who won the big 10.
LSU would be the 4 IF UGA beats them.
