That is actually a very interesting article. First time I have seen it except for a few of CC's excerpts.

Paul "Bear" Bryant is number #1 on college football's Mount Rushmore and it is not even close. Don't be a tool and show penis envy to the gumps by taking shots at the greatest. It's like saying Babe Ruth had a hitch in his swing.

I find it hard to believe Bear was a cheater. Very, very difficult to even comprehend that thought.

I think he was a great coach.

This is true. He cheated some. He took advantage of unfair rules some. But he was still a damned good coach.

Did a pretty good job at Kentucky, too. My mom was from Alabama so our house was always a big Alabama supporter. Growing up, Alabama was always my second favorite team. Bear Bryant was larger than life to me. He was not perfect but to me, to see how his former players (even the Junction Boys who he almost killed in the desert) revered him til his death, spoke volumes as to what kind of man he was.

Sorry guys...we let the inmates have a yard pass from time to time and they abuse the privilege.

Come here, Rex. I've got your "suit of armor" as you like to call it to put back on. I know it ties up in the back, don't worry about it.
