Everybody here in Ga. calls UT for Tennessee.
Don't know what your map's based on.

I say we make it a traveling thing. Whoever goes further in football, basketball, and football. So it can change hands three times each year.

Considering the University of Tennessee is like a century older than the University of Texas @ Austin, logically you gotta say Tennessee. And that does not even factor into the historical reality that without the original Tennessee Volunteers, there is no Texas.

Considering the fact that you have to keep saying you're the real UT, you probably aren't.

I was gonna say OU since they are 7-3 vs Texass and 2-0 vs Tennessee over the last 10 years, but now that I see the context, I'd say it's easy, Tennessee was founded almost 100 years earlier and was in the SEC as a founding member.
I'm not sure Texass fans really care though, I think it's much more important to Vols fans.

Stupid question: the entire United States of America knows who UT is except y'all.

Get with the program.

ETA: let me add that when the real UT joins the SEC they're Tiger Bait.

Whenever I see "UT" on this board, my first thought is Tennessee (them being relevant in baseball this year has even reinforced this). For years, they were the only UT that I would regularly come across (always saw Texas being referred to by name and/or mascot as opposed to an abbreviation), especially with them being in the same conference. First time I saw UT in reference to Texas, it took me a few seconds to realize that some utilize that for Texas.

I don’t call either one of them UT and I figured most people were the same. Just say Tennessee or Texas

Corrrect. Most people here just refer to the school and team as “Texas” I doubt we could copyright that though
