Ole Miss is undefeated going into the seccg, but loses to a 2 loss Florida team. Alabama only has the one loss against Ole miss. Who makes the CFP?

ETA: Let's say both the ole miss-Bama game and seccg were won by a last second field goal and osu/Clemson/Oklahoma/ are one loss conference champs with he pac-12 champ having two losses and Houston is the only undefeated team in the nation

Alabama will be in the CFB with one loss regardless of any situation.

If Alabama's only loss is in Week 3 on the road to a Top 10 team and they beat USC, Tennessee and LSU on the road........they'll be tough to keep out.

Though, it may be used as a situation to show that they aren't going to let non-conference champs in, especially if it isn't IN ADDITION to the conference champ.

Who knows.

There are 4 other conferences, if the SEC creates a clusterfrick it's certainly a possibility the SEC champ is left out, assuming the other 4 conference champs all have respectable records and resumes.

Well...IF an SEC rep were to make it it would be alabama. You dont' HAVE to go to the playoff just for winning your conference.

The unanswered variable here is who are the 1 or 0 loss teams from the ACC, Pac, Big12, Big10, and ND.

Its simple. Ole Miss won't make the SECCG. They're Ole Miss. So no worries.

Too much unknown information. Was Ole Miss/Fla close? The other 4 conference champs, how many losses? How many losses does ND have? Answer those and you can make a reasonable guess.

That being said, if there is one spot for an SEC team, it would be Bama over Ole Miss. Neither is SEC champ, and 2 loss Fla isn't going.
