So Hughes baggage makes him unlikely.

USM screwed up so bad by firing Bower. Ironically, Bower's success led to him getting fired. USM developed a sense that they were better than they really were and thought they should be a national powerhouse due to Bower having so many consecutive winning seasons. USM is an absolute dump and their fans are trash - one of the few things Ole Miss and State fans both agree on.

The answer is clear. They need to hire Matt Luke. On the plus side for USM is that Ole Miss is already paying him for the next few years.

Matt Luke isn’t so far fetched . He is from the coast

Hugh Freeze baggage prevents him from coaching anywhere but Liberty,evidently he fits right in there base on recent events!!!
