the sad thing is that you aren't smart enough to understand when he got this yardage, and most of the time who it was against. There are MANY teams that can throw out stats of a back-up who got big yards in mop up duty and against weak opponents. You'll figure it out this year though, until then, it's impossible to reason with alabama fans. They are convinced they have the greatest player at ever position over every team in the SEC. If by chance a player performs better at another school, I am sure Alabama could have said player if it had wanted him.

The sad thing is 21-0. But seriously, no previous stats can convince you guys that Lacy is the real deal. You are just going to have to see it. The reason we have 2 tailbacks committed for 2013 is because Bama is preparing for Lacy to head to the draft. If Lacy is healthy all year there is no reason why he won't put up Ingram/Richardson numbers easily...Alabama's offensive system is designed to take mediocre RBs and make them special. Glen Coffee and Ingram are examples. Trent was already a monster outta high school. Just wait. You'll learn.

There is a reason why intelligent fantasy football gurus draft the system instead of the player. Youll learn soon enough noob.

Eddie Lacy got PT during times of the game that counted it wasn't all mop up duty. That wasn't mop up yards he got in the BCSNCG was it?
He would get in second quarter a lot and sometimes sooner. Is he Richardson? No. But no one else you are talking about and I said NO ONE is either.

Actually, you are dead wrong. Multiple times last year EL came in and got the chains moving when Trent was not doing anything. EL got plenty of first half carries last year. But your ignorant arse wouldn't know that, but hey, enjoy spewing bullshite, you are good at it.

SHOCKING!!!! And,if not him, his backup. Every RB on Alabama roster > than all other RB's in SEC. Fact.
He played last year. Lattimore and Davis didn't.
Plus he's running behind the best O-Line in CFB and he WILL get at LEAST 230 carries.

Lacy did NOT fricking play in mop up duty, he had like four combined carries in garbage time last year.
Don't talk about it if you don't know what you're talking about.

Lacy is a very good rb....not TR good....maybe Bama fans will understand by years end. TR took screen passes and destroyed teams....also was very very solid blocker and Im not a Bama fan...but watched him enough...glad he is gone..just wish the Bucs would have traded up for him.
LSU will run the ball a lot with all their backs capable of doing damage and then fresh legs taking over. I still see a slight drop overall for both Bama and LSU...but think LSU will get revenge in red stick for the BCS loss. I also think UF is going to surprise LSU in the Swamp...dont laugh, cause its going to be a butthurt.

I'm sorry, where again did Bama fans say anything about him being as good as Trent? What exactly do we need to understand?

Lacy is not overrated. He has shown enough as a back up to support a legitimate arguement that he's a legit SEC starting, 1200 yard back with sufficient carries.
I think if Lacy is healthy and the offensive line plays up to their names then Lacy may come out looking better than what he really is.
He's not as good as Ingram, Trent, or even Dee Hart at catching but he blocks pretty good.

I think he can be as good as Ingram was, probably better. People think Ingram is better than he was because of his Heisman, and I'm not saying Ingram is bad because he isn't, but I think Lacy will be better.

In a thread earlier this year many Bama posters were predicting stats for Lacy that would be good enough for the third best season all time at Bama. He is certainly rated by some very high. Time will tell on whether he was under, over, or correctly rated.

It will be Brent Calloway or CJ Yeldon or Corey Grant Or Mike Blackley.

In Knile Davis' only "full" year in the SEC, he averaged 6.5 yards per carry. 7.0 against Bama. 5.1 against LSU on 33 carries. Best bet is by far Davis.
