The only culture we give a shite about is winning. I wouldn’t care if he wore an Indian head piece on the sidelines if he wins football games.

22-24 against ranked opponents kind of tells the story, though.

The common theme with Kelly is he loses the big games.

"This board" is a place where just yesterday an OU fan bragged about having a small dick, I wouldn't take everything at face value here.

Kelly has the contract that will keep him at LSU for at least 6 years

You have no way of knowing that and Mizzou will have a new HC before Kelly leaves LSU.

Y’all put way too much stock into the coach. It’s the program and what talent that program garners that matters. Lsu has shown that plenty. A fricking mute could average a top 8 recruiting class at lsu.

The thing that lsu fans are hoping for is that Kelly can continue to evaluate and recruit o linemen at a high level and pair that with what we get every single year at the skill positions.

Ed o failed because he wasn’t disciplined. Kelly won’t be that way, obviously. I truly believe that as long as lsu can recruit good o linemen and continue to get high rated qbs like we have lately , then Kelly will be able to get lsu to the level he had notre dame. They won eleven or more games like 5 times.

At lsu he will be able to get them back to at minimum nds level with a ceiling to exceed that with our skill guys

It takes a dense arse dude to think that Kelly isn’t gonna at least get lsu back to where miles had it. Dudes won at every stop

Go look at Ed os win percentage against top 25 teams? You think Kelly won’t do better than Ed?

Ed used to beat top 25 teams, not named bama , almost Everytime we played one , up until the last two years. He was a horrible coach. Lsu is a place that has been able to win despite our coach. That’s not the case now.

It’s really not that hard of a concept to grasp imo. I try to think about it in a simple logical way.

1.He’s better than every coach we’ve had besides saban. That’s not even debatable, correct?
2.he’s showing that people want to play for him via recruiting and portal. He’s gonna end up with a top 5 class give or take a spot or two, it could be as high as 3 but it will be between 3-5 ,6 at worst because we lead for the number 9 overall player , another 5 star and a very high 4 star among others.

Combine those two and you will win games. It really is that simple.
Look at the recruiting rankings every year and tell me which team in the top 5 has a great coach and doesn’t win. It’s impossible

I look for UF to hang with Napier for the long run. They realize that stability is needed.

How many 61 year old men in Louisiana wear these shoes?

The answer is zero.
How many 61 year old men grind on 18 year old boys?

Kelly. Proven coach in a place where talent won't be an issue.

Napier is a promising coach as well. If he can keep recruiting high, he'll have UF competitive again. But, Kelly is the safer bet for longevity if placing money today on those two.

I think both have a better chance than Venables. Great recruiter, but he's a defensive minded coach in an offensive league and is completely unproven in the HC/CEO role. He could knock it out of the park, but he also may not make a to a second season in SEC play.

Wow! Nick Saban left LSU because Wayne Huizenga was arguable the greatest salesman in the World. Nick Saban loved those cajun bastards. And all Bama fans should be most grateful that Les Miles didn't go to Michigan in 2008 because IMO Saban would have been back in Baton Rogue before Miles got to Ann Arbor.
