LSU I put up Maason Smith. Defensive tackle that wears the number 0, right. Our other DT, Roy, will eat up a lot of double teams for Smith

RaRa Thomas at WR for State. Not really an unknown to us, but might be to the rest of the SEC.

Freshman Kobe Prentice is gonna get the start at wideout. Pretty much every guy to do that in the Saban era has been a pro-bowl receiver

Bru McCoy is the obvious answer for the Vols. Most teams are not going to be able to cover him.

On D Juwan Mitchell will benefit from playing beside Jeremy Banks and will be a force on the field.

For UGA, it's RB Kendall Milton. McIntosh is getting the pub for UGA coming into the season, but Milton is the guy who's more of the "between the tackles" runner. He's also extremely talented and was working his way into more carries before he got hurt halfway through the season last year.

He's going to be UGA's workhorse and put up a ton of yards and TD's this year.

Not saying Bru won’t be good but where is this “no one will be able to cover him” coming from? Star watching? Cause he hasn’t played a down in years. If he’s shredding UT’s defense in practice then I’ve got some bad news for you bud.

It’s a combination of scheme and having Tillman on the other side. Most teams have 1 really good cover guy or can scheme to take away part of the field but when you have 2 6’3 220 WRs to cover, that’s asking a lot of most teams. Add in the pace the Vols play at at the challenge goes up.

Please don’t mistake my take as he personally is uncoverable but with Tillman on the outside, having to to account for the RPO, and not be able to sub/communicate like normal? That’s asking a lot of a #2 CB.

Evan Stewart. Does he count as unknown?

Maybe Jacoby Matthews. Word is he might have beat out Jardin Gilbert for a starting safety spot.

Trey Zuhn at left tackle.

Gotcha that’s why I asked I agree having 2 big receivers that can get open is hard to cover. I live in Knoxville and I see people all the time talking about great he is but he hasn’t played a down of football in years so I just think a lot of people are star watching because he was a 5 star in high school years ago.

Caleb Ducking - Outside wide receiver 6-5 205
or
Justin Robinson - Outside wide receiver 6-4 220 transferred in from Georgia. Down on the depth chart right now but have heard good things about him coming out of camp. Im thinking he can push for playing time in a couple of games.

If any Georgia fans have info on him they would like to share it would be appreciated

I agree. If Tillman wasn’t back this year then I wouldn’t expect as much. But for this system McCoy is a great get right now. His camp reports have been great, his willingness to take coaching, put in the work have been great to hear. He will be able to not be pushed directly into the WR1 role and has a deep talented group of guys to take pressure off him. Last year the Vols had 3 WRs they trusted and 2 are in the NFL now but they now have 5 WRs and 2 TEs they can trust. Huge difference in the way the games should look.

By next year he should be comfortable enough to take the WR1 spot is things go as expected.

It’s Oatis for me too. Knew he’d be in rotation but seeing that he’s technically listed as co-starter with senior DJ Dale is worth an eyebrow raise
