When did this happen. When have ever played
Bama the week after UGA?BTW and why exactly did you guys schedule an off week before our game this year?
God almighty,we've played each for other YEARS in November and the MINUTE we get the upper hand you guys go whining and crying to get the schedule changed...so typical

Since never that I know of. They have Samford after us this year and it was Liberty in 2018. Louisiana Monroe in 2017. Alabama A&M in 2016.
Maybe he just doesn't like playing Alabama and Georgia in the same season? That must be what bothers him.

Dude. Auburn went 53 years in between titles. I'm not sure you have much room to talk.
And Auburn was on probation for paying players when you won in 1957.

No, you don't. You have two and we have two. Unless you want us to play the "We are great because we played for a National Championship more recently!" card.
Yeah, it sounds kind of stupid when you hear it that way, doesn't it? I'm just glad we win them more often than every 53 years.

Check your math. Wrong again.

Certainly Alabama

The championship years of 1942 and 1980 shows Georgia is a real powerhouse.
Georgia has been undefeated twice since 1946. Auburn has 4 since 1957. JS.

We haven't loss to a rival this century. The Gamecocks are our official rival, and they have literally never beaten us.

Yet Auburn is the consensus 1957 National Champion.

There is no softer excuse than the “it’s their Super Bowl” excuse. If Auburn can’t get up for a team that’s mudholed them for the better part of 15 years, that would speak poorly of their competitive instincts much moreso than it would be any slight toward Georgia.

quote:Winning a NC is alot different than just playing for one. You just have a moral victory since 1980. If you want to go that route Auburn has played in 20% of the NCGs in the last 10 years and won 10% of them.
Unless you want us to play the "We are great because we played for a National Championship more recently!" card.

As far as soft excuses you should hear the one about a team crying harder than anyone because (as they claim) they lost one game at home to scheduling to a team they claim they mudhole and don't fear.

That’s fine. Auburn has two weeks to reset for the Iron Bowl after they play UGA. If they can’t do that, they have no one to blame but themselves.
This implies that AU is somehow mailing in the UGA game, which is a ludicrous assumption. It’s basically AU fans calling their own team soft.

a team they claim they mudhole.
That claim is strongly supported by the scoreboard.

quote:No it implies we play a west schedule and end it with our 2 top rivals in 3 weeks. That's alot to prepare for. While yall play an East schedule with 1 team that's at the end. I'm sorry if that's too complicated for UGA fans to get but it doesn't matter because the game is moved and we will eventually see which theory is right.

If the record evens up more then yall can blame it all on that one home game yall gave up.

Georgia plays Florida two weeks before Auburn. It doesn’t seem to be a problem.
