Yall are all too young to remember Auburn vs Florida 1983. Holy shite, I think both rosters went to the NFL.

I would expect all Bama fans to answer "Ourselves."

Oh yeah, if we are going that far back, 1983 has a couple. UGA was undefeated until AU beat them in Athens and finished with only 1 loss after beating #2 Texas in the cotton bowl. That was right after beating that insanely stacked Gator team that blew out miami.
Also 1990 FSU was a loaded top 4 team that is up there.

OU 2002
BAMA 2012
Also stopped two good t.u. teams from going to BCS games during their 05-09 stretch with Cart.

For Bama it would definitely have to be Bama in 2014 and 2013. No other teams could have beaten Bama that year.

Very short list.
1980 over #1 Alabama
2000 over #3 Florida
We've beaten other top 5 teams, but I don't think any ended the season in the top 10 or won the SEC.

This is actually a new and refreshing topic, congrats.
Tough question. Just off the top of my head I can think of:
01 UT: 10-1 and ranked #2 going into the SECCG. Had they won they would play miami for the national title
06 AU: 9-1 coming into UGA and ranked 5th with an outside shot at the title
12 UF: 11-1 after the regular season and #2 coming into jacksonville
85 UF: our first win over a #1 ranked team, UF went on to finish 5th at 9-1-1
65 bama: gave them their only loss as they went on to win the title

2011 'Bama. 'Nuff said.
1997 Florida. Ranked #1 and deservedly so.
2003 OU. Had they not shite the bed in the Big 12 title game this game would vie for #1. They had umpteen AA and the Heisman winner and were man-handled by the Tigers.

I thought about including them as well since we beat them, but they lost a handful of games that year and weren't as good as their previous #1 ranking would have suggest.

AU beat Florida in 2006 (NC Team)
