Everyone's backup QB is a chump. Florida is the only team really equipped to lose their starter without much dropoff

With that said, it was proven last year that you can ride a defense and running game all the way TO the ship

Bobby Petrino WAS your offense

No sir, Bobby was a part of our offense, but Paul was a bigger part and can handle it on his own.

Paul isn't anywhere as good as Bobby.

Tyler Wilson, however had 4 years of tutelage under Bobby and has the ability to audible out of Paul's piss poor play calling.

What people are looking past is the fact that we didnt just beat them 41-14. We were up 21-0 in the first quarter. Had we not taken the foot off the gas, we would have scored 60-80 on them.

However, if we had done that, then Saban would have risked his players getting a big head and drowning in complacency.

Also, these are the times that the backups get the most experience. Making them ready to step into their new roles when first round draft picks leave for the NFL and have very little dropoff.

The fact that they may have been a #15 team as opposed to a #8 team is irrelevant when you think of how bad it could have been had Saban decided to just go in dry and never let up.

Arkansas? Traditionally our #2, and if Petrino were still there, an easy pick. However I think it's too big of an assumption that Arkansas will carry on like nothing ever happened. This is a team that will lose a few they're not supposed to, and one they are used to: Alabama will spank dat arse.

On the contrary, with an iPhone, your post may not make a lick of fricking sense, but it will at least contain perfectly spelled words.

That leaves me with UT. A series that is historically streaky, with the game in the giant sardine can, with pissed off fan base after losing five straight, a good quarterback and emergent receivers built to challenge our perceived weak (ish, relative) spot.

They played us tight two years ago up there before we blew it open in the second half--they have to be better.

Tell me SEC fans . . hold me. Tell me I have nothing to fear, and the streak will go to 6 in a row

I would say UT for the reasons you mentioned and also because it will be the second consecutive road game for y'all, which can takes its toll on a team.

If Bray and the receivers stay healthy I give UT a puncher's chance against anybody. Does that mean I would put down money on UT on the moneyline? No, no it doesn't. If we're playing word association and you say "Bama" I'd prolly say "juggernaut". A LOT of things would have to go right for Tennessee to win that game.
