I absolutely concede that Florida greatly improved from the Miami opener to the Florida - Auburn game especially on defense. I can’t pin point why exactly I feel this way about Mullen and his coaching ability. I knew Orgeron would eventually win a conference championship I feel Smart will one day win one, I just don’t feel it with Mullen.
To the OP, I can see any number of LSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, winning the conference next year. It should be an interesting competitive season.

with as many young players Alabama has had to play on their defense this season I will go with them having a very Alabama like defense next season, and win the SEC.
