As much as I'd like for LSU to win next year, I think I'd have to bet on Florida. Opinions?

For the first time in a long time, I think it'll be wide open. LSU, UGA, Bama, UF, Auburn...hell, if A&M finds a groove they could even jump into the conversation.

Going to be a fun season.

Florida, Auburn and Ole Miss have upcoming quarterbacks who are going to be really special.

A&M returns 21-22 starters including specialists and 39-42 of the 2 deep not including specialists.

The last time A&M returned more than 15 was 2012.

Dan Mullen might get Florida to Atlanta but I just don’t believe he will deliver a championship to the Gators. Just my personal opinion but if I’m wrong I’ll come eat my dung on the Rant. I’m just underwhelmed by the guy. I don’t see him being at Florida in five more years either.

I think A&M could be really really good next year but it comes down to their O line play and which mond will show up verses the big dogs

If Fromm returns, UGA will be the favorite. If not, it will be a toss-up between UF and UGA.

A&M has South Carolina and Vanderbilt from the east. They play Auburn Oct. 17th, but don't play Alabama until November 21st, and then LSU November 28th. If A&M can win the auburn game, then I'd say they can be in the 'conversation'.

So there are going to be high expectations. Let’s see if A&M can come through.

I mean right now we improved this year from last despite the worst offensive line in the SEC possibly.

Hopefully next year we continue that improvement. So far two losses to top 5 overall teams and neither game was a blow out(like last year).

If our line can be decent and Trask stays and continues to improve we certainly have a shot to be a very strong team.

VOLS. Pruitt is a tad slower. Takes him the 3rd year instead of the 2nd.

I think A&M might have a claim to this title.

I mean, those six teams were all considered contenders this year as well. They were all ranked in the top 16 in the preseason AP poll. So, that wouldn't be that different. A&M was ranked #12, so they were definitely in the preseason conversation.

We may not even have a fricking football team with the crap that's going on here so count us out.

Not that you were counting us to begin with.
