Brian Kelly was never the coach at LSU before this year.LSU was picked to finish 5th in the west this year and instead they beat Bama and played in the SEC Championship game. give him two more years and you will forget all about that bowl cut head Kirby!

Whatever...I don't understand why anyone thinks that BK coming to LSU is going to make him more successful. He had everything going for him at Notre Dame; huge fanbase, facilities, good recruiting for a national brand and he still hit a ceiling. Now, he's moved into the SEC with an even bigger ceiling; He's gotta get by Bama in the West, and if he manages that, he's gotta get by UGA. The 2 top programs in the country. This year, he shows up at LSU and ends up with a worse record than he had in the last 4 out of 5 years he had with the Irish.
Time will tell, but I think it was a bad move. I wanna like the ol boy, but I'm just not sold on him as a head coach. He's like Mark Richt was for us at UGA...something's just missing.

I’m sure it’s been said but Alabama. Kirby is 1-4 against them.

Saban has kept in shape. Have you seen how fat Kirby got this year? I doubt he is still coaching into his 60s.

For sure, the next few years will be a fun ride. LSU, we will see you in Atlanta.

Good lord. Bama kicked your arse in the SEC CG. Had them beat in the NC game before losing JW. TOSU missed a FG or you wouldn’t even be in the CG. Very good fortune.

Even Aaron Murray states without the WR injuries during those games, Ga has zero nattys beyond ‘80.

You beat the worst Bama team since 2007. Congrats.

You act as if the Alabama team Georgia beat last January (without Metchie and Williams) was better than this year’s Alabama team.

It’s a shame that injuries are such a rare part of a physical, contact sport, and can’t be expected or prepared for ahead of time by recruiting and player development. If they happened more often, perhaps teams would figure out how to win in spite of them.

Regression to the mean. And football is a funny game. Insane to think had Ohio St made that kick we'd have never seen a 65-7 arse kicking in the natty. What he said about complacency he will truly have to be mindful of along with Georgia's players to 3 peat. It'd be incredible just to see it done. I don't have much doubt he'll retire with more than Saban. He seems hungrier honestly.

According to VowelNation, 10RC has never lost a game. If they got out scored it was the referee’s fault.

We had injuries also. It’s part of the game. We won because we had more depth. Because we have more depth, we were better than you.

You didn't need depth as you were healthier than you had been, as your coach stated, while Bama was depleted.

If not for bama injury luck, uga might be on 4 of 6 right now.

You were the one counting JTD as a loss when that injury helped them win. Your injuries actually benefitted you, so it was a combination of Bama's bad injury luck and Georgia's good injury luck.
