better question, will Texas make a bowl next year?

If they don't, Herman will be hired as an "analyst" for Saban by January 2021

It'll be Mac Jones for a few games with Young getting snaps late in games.

Then Young takes over.

That kid is fricking good. He's deadly accurate and seems to have awesome field vision/decision making. Really not happy we've gotta play that fricker for 3 years.

The overarching theme I'm getting here is that there's going to be an absolutely wild market for Taulia transferring.

We play USCw and Georgia in the first 3 games so the QB situation will probably get sorted out quickly

Taulia just isn't great. He's very average. Young is elite and Mac Jones will be very experienced.

But I don't think he'll transfer because his family all moved to Tuscaloosa at the REC got them hooked up there.

Yeah, I think Mac will go in these games. Your defense will be much improved I have to think, so the game manager is more important here. I think Young will get a few snaps here and there in situational moments and a lot of snaps against weaker opponents.

You're going to blow USC out, so he'll play in the 4th in that one.

By game 6, Young is your starter. That's my shot and I'm taking it.

Yeah but that's all Tua-related. Their family's not going to let him ride the pine just because they have a house in Tuscaloosa. If Bryce Young is as good as people say, Taulia's starting for a Pac-12 school next year, bank on that.

have to say that I was impressed with Mac Jones in the Iron Bowl. Yeah, he threw two costly interceptions, but one of those was not his fault - the defensive end got in his face and disrupted the timing;

I thought Jones did some nice things also. If you look at the absurdly circumstantial things that had to happen in that game for Auburn to win, even Aubie fans would tell you they went out and bought a shite ton of lottery scratch off tickets. I mean, an interception off the back of a Bama receiver and returned 100 yards the other way? A short field goal off the uprights? Holy hell

I dunno. They’re full air raid now and should be able to move the ball unless Bama’s D vastly improves

And if we are gonna do the Kelly Bryant/Trevor Lawrence method, the window would be after week 4. After that we have a bye, Ole Miss, Arkansas, then @Tennessee

It's difficult to say that about a RS FR who was a highly recruited 4-Star I guess that outlook is pretty indicative of the polarizing state of the QB market in college football nowadays, though.

Once Tua is in the league, probably after the draft, that family is shagging arse from T-town.

Don’t y’all have Bear Bryant’s grandson Paul Tyson on the roster? What about him?

Not a great QB. Arm strength and all is there but I think the game moves too fast for him is what I remember reading on the boards.
