IMO that's a flawed way to tell. Simply because a team is rated high in a guess work preseason poll, that doesn't mean they're worth a damn. Look at UF last year for example. That team was no where near a top 10 team. However, they were there because it's all a crap shoot in the preseason. UF didn't even deserve to be ranked at all in the preseason polls the way we looked the first few games, but we were right there in the top 10.

I know there was some LSU pimping in there, but an obvious fourth and fifth choice in this lineup would have actually been Georgia and Tennessee. Since the BCS was established and the NCAA punished ALABAMA and took them down for several years ... LSU has held the upper hand in the series ... Auburn is no better ... cheating every chance they get and currently under NCAA investigation
