10+ win seasons are typically considered success by most fan bases. A&M has 1 since 2012, so having the "4th best overall record" since then really just means you've been consistent at being mediocre.

A&M for multiple years had one of the top 5 most difficult SOS in the country, so I'm not apologizing. Also, the way the year is shaking out, our SOS is just fine even this year.
Whether it was conscious decision by SEC (I doubt it as they never do us favor) or just luck of the draw, I'll take it.
p.s. SEC hardly gave you an easy schedule because of your recent history. You guys have been hyped as the next greatest thing going on 2 years now. You got the schedule not because they felt sorry for you, but because they were protecting you and their investment.

A&M beat two top ten ranked teams when we played them. They are not top ten teams because we beat them.
Our only loss was to a top ten team. Game was tied with two minutes to go in the game. We beat the team that beat Tennessee. We get a shot at the team that beat Bama. We finish the season with tu.
