Most impressive is probably Miami beating OSU or Indiana just dismantling Bama. I don’t think it can be argued that the Sugar Bowl wasn’t the most entertaining.

Bama gets worst loss because they got beat worse than JMU and Tulane on a neutral field.

Best win and worst loss?

We laughed at ND when Alabama beat them 42-14 (28 points) and said ND had no business being there...and i agree with that.

But Indiana took an Alabama team that many thought could make a run and possibly beat Indiana and beat them by 35 points.

ETA
Hats off to Ole miss. They cam prepared and whipped us. It was a great game, and i have to admit, I thought a 9 point lead going into halftime was enough, but Ole Miss came out with fire in their eyes and brought the fight to us. Kudos.

That game was during a time when the SEC was tops in the country. Bama was peak Saban in 2012-2013. There’s been a seismic shift in the sport since 2023. Saban retiring along with the unmitigated portal mess means that the sport will allow for more outliers.

We’ve both learned this lesson the hard way this season

Best win - Indiana scoring at will over Alabama

Worst loss - Alabama almost not scoring against Indiana

I guess both things can be true at the same time.

I would agree if Georgia hadn't beaten them down a few weeks ago in the SECCG.

Best win- Ole Miss over Georgia

Worst loss- Oklahoma losing to Alabama when up by 17 considering how Indiana exposed us.

I believe Kalen Defour kicked that field goal down 24-0 late in the third quarter to avoid the shutout.

Worst loss was Bama, that shite was embarrassing.

Best win Ole Miss, also most entertaining. That was a great game and Ole Miss came to play ball. I’m pulling for the Rebs to win it all.

That would be my second choice for best win.

But Miami did pull of the largest upset in CFP history....

We have to at least put TTech up for honorable mention worst loss. Totally skunked by Oregon.

Win - The refs. They get a lot of shite thrown there way, but they've been letting them play and only calling obvious penalties. Replay has been efficient too.

They were easily my second choice for worst loss.

But the performance by Alabama stands alone. It was really really bad.

Tulane and JMU gave better performances on the road in the first round.

Great observation, I felt the same way watching the games and it was refreshing.

Total penalties in the quarter final games

Oregon-3 TTech 6
Ole Miss-4 Georgia-4
Indiana-1 bama-1
Miami-0 Ohio St.-2

As long as they let both teams "play" I think most fans would agree it's a better product.

Me too...Golson was a fricking joke. Dude could only pass for more than 2,000 yards and couldnt even rush for 300 yards. I dont know if there is a worse QB than that to lead a team to a Natty appearance. I had zero confidence we would win that game.
