AU and not close.

Both teams gave away wins, but AU had more at stake, did so against a lesser opponent, and did so in spectacularly terrible fashion.

At least LSU lost to a team that was their peer and equal. AU got buttfricked by AtM .

Another great thread. Kind of like asking Mrs. Lincoln how she enjoyed the play.

n a game like LSU Bama, there is always luck involved. It seems like Bama always wins the luck factor.

Maybe LSU could try and play defense when they have the lead with less than two minutes to go in the game. I guess Bama is lucky Chavis went home before each of those games was over.

Auburn had more to lose and played a team it should have beat by all accounts.

Auburn's loss was more ridiculous and they had far more at stake.

Texas A&M over Auburn yesterday is the biggest upset of the season.

A&M will beat Mizzou and LSU and win it's bowl game. Auburn will lose to Georgia, Bama, and finish the regular season. They'll probably win their bowl game, but who cares? A 9 win team losing to a 10 win team isn't the biggest upset of the season.

I agree.

We lost to a 21 point underdog at home.

They out played and out coached us.

No excuses.

Texas Aggies were better than us yesterday at money time.

Auburn was (in all likelihood) knocked out of playoff contention. That's the one main reason their loss is much worse

I would guess LSU since we were mathematically eliminated from division contention (however a long shot it might otherwise have been). Auburn can still win the West as long as they win out and State loses to OM and Bama, none of which are particularly unlikely outcomes.

not an auburn fan but i imagine yesterdays loss was about an 8 while blowing a 21 point lead in the title game and losing would be a 10

Auburn. Easily.

I was surprised LSU kept it close, honestly.

Even the majority of your fans thought so going in. Don't be offended by it.

Worse how? LSU played Bama tough, and every single Bama fan who's not on hallucinogens would likely admit that. It was a brutal game along the lines of the 2011 one. Losing in OT is always painful, but it's also a sign of the losing team putting up a real fight.

Auburn...those last two fumbles were beyond an ugly way to lose, and they needed a significant comeback to even get into the position for those fumbles to matter.

If I had to choose between the pain of being an Auburn fan or the pain of being an LSU fan today, I'd take LSU, easily.

At least LSU and Alabama played in a real football game unlike Auburn and A&M which look like an arena game!
