Just depends on if your team is good at it or not. If you're good at it then your fans care and want to talk about it

I disagree.

Football:
Kentucky is the clear winner here

Basketball:
Auburn - SEC tourney champs and Final 4 after they got hot at the end of the season
Tennessee - Elite 8. Ranked in the top 10 all season and #1 for a month
LSU - SEC champs. Elite 8. Was not receiving a single vote in the rankings in early January and rose to the top 10 by the end of the season. 7 overtime games, 5 of them on the road. Also had their coach suspended over recorded offer to recruit. Rallies organized, athletic director harassed and other general mayhem.

I think LSU is the clear winner here. A final 4 is nicer than an elite 8, but the SEC reg season trumps the SEC tourney and they had a wild ride of a season.

I might normally agree, but it doesn't trump beating Kansas by double digits, UNC by doubles digits, and then Kentucky to get there.
