Your double(see what I did there)take is understandable but the OP is pretty spot on.

Auburn by a lot.

The Final Four is a massive accomplishment.

I’ll nominate us for football. I got to see the last second win vs Mizzou and the Citrus bowl both in person.

Golden State and New England?

Kentucky upped their game this year. Can they maintain this level with the grads and early bailers?

Auburn made their first final four ever. They earned the right to be in the finals but the refs took it away. It is still a good season for them.

The two biggest sports are football and football recruiting.

I concur with this assessment.

I could see LSU as an honorable mention for basketball.

Subtle brag that winning the SEC and being the national football runner-up is not exciting.

All the negative bs at the end of the year ruined the season for me...yeh it was great until WW was suspended.

If you mean exciting as in it got your blood pumping, then the first half of the season in football for Arkansas certainly counted for me. How I avoided a stroke I'll never know. After 5th game I sunk into a deep apathy so I can't nominate our season.

Football: Kentucky. They had a great year and showed tremendous progress from where they started.

Basketball: Auburn. A magical run to the Final 4, though the no call on the double dribble is going to make folks absolutely sick for years to come.
