Because I damn sure do. Put them in the SEC or Big 10, and they're an average team at best.
Yes, I know Cinci. You beat ND. But then follow that up with beating LSU, Alabama, Georgia, A&M, Ole Miss, then get cleaned up by Arkansas.

I’d be curious to see where they land in the BCS rankings. I think a site out there still tabulates that.

you can say that about pretty much any team that isn't in the SEC.

Tulsa almost beat Cinci, at Cinci.
Look at their schedule. Middle tier SEC teams would also be unbeaten with that weak arse schedule.

I think all the people that have campaigned for these little teams to get in should have to bet a paycheck on them winning their first game.
This year, with all the losses, whatever. But I'm looking forward to seeing them lose by 50 points (assuming they don't get to play ND, the other fraud).

They are in the Top 4 in almost every computer metric that ranks resumes, so I don't have all that much problem with it.
I don't think they are a Top 4 team (and neither do the metrics that rank how good teams are), but I don't think it's a huge travesty if they are in based on their wins and losses and the teams they'll be competing against for it.

No. I don't. But can you honestly say that there aren't at least 5 or 6 teams in the top 15 that wouldn't beat the breaks off Cinci?

I'm happy because now we can show all these G5 asshats what happens inside the CFP.

Their QB is nice and their LT will play in the NFL. They also have a veteran defense. I was impressed with them in the bowl against Georgia, even with the players UGA had out.
However, I agree that they would never make it through an SEC schedule, especially Arkansas', without taking multiple Ls. I don't believe they are one of the top 4 teams in the country but I'm not surprised they are in the conversation. Winning @ ND carries weight.

Like who? I mean they pretty much dominated Notre Dame on the road.
I think at our best Alabama can give anyone a run for their money, but we've also shown that we can dive headfirst into the sidewalk. If we did that, we certainly wouldn't hammer them.
Oklahoma State struggled with Missouri State, Tulsa, Boise, Texas and lost to Iowa State.
Cincinnati beat Notre Dame by double digits in South Bend
Ohio State - I mean similar to Alabama I think
Ole Miss? Baylor? Oregon? Michigan State? BYU? Oklahoma? Utah? Iowa?
I just don't see a lot of "oh Cincinnati would clearly lose by 2 TDs to them" teams in that Top 15. I don't think it's a travesty if they get left out, but I think of all the years this does seem to be the one where the G5 team is probably the closest to the other teams vying for the last spot in terms of how good or not good they are.
Outside of Georgia there just hasn't been anyone in America who has been consistent week to week.

This has been what I have been hoping for.
Beat Bama in SECCG by 3+ scores.
Throttle Cincy on NYE.
Smother NCG opponent (likely Michigan) in CFP Championship game. (I wanted tOSU, but that's not happening, now).

No way does the committee offer up Cincy to the lions by giving them the #4 if UGA stays at #1
