Well who fans will want and who Strickland hot list may not be the same.

But
1. Kiffin
2.Campbell
3. Fisch obviously has ties
4. Golesh - literally just beat Napier
5. Barry Odom
6. Kenny Dillingham

You guys have a history of a bad hire, then an unbelievable hire....very streaky. Then the good hire breaks off a couple national championships, same thing in basketball.

Golesh might be a good hire but that’s not a resume building bullet point accomplishment

You do know Florida is a much better program than Ole Miss

Spurrier days are long gone. Ole Miss has a significantly better football program and it's not even close. We have a better NIL, better AD, and our program has been in much better shape for years.

I get what you're saying. It seems like the solution would be easy. Go after big name P4 hires and eventually one will hit.

The issue is the UAA never does that. Then again sometime the up and comers can work out but it has been so unsuccessful of an approach in football since Meyer left (worked brilliantly in basketball however) that it would seem like common sense to try to land some big names, at least try which we generally don't, and see if something can work.

Y’all were saying the same thing last year, came to the swamp and we knocked yall out of playoff contention.

The biggest reason people don’t want Kiffin is because he lost to coach sling blade.

I will say there is more of a foundation for the next HC than Dan left for Billy
That is true. And a lot of the issues that came up during the Napier years have been at least exposed, if not addressed, so that the next coach can come in and start working those things out before taking the job.

Florida may not be a blue blood, but id put them in the baby blue blood category behind LSU (who in my opinion should be considered blue blood if they win a few more in the next 10 or so years).

He's the best coach in college football right now. Neal Brown would be a good choice as well. Don't count Brown's stint a WVU, nobody can win there.

Rich Rod did. Then fell on his face at Michigan. I’ve learned fit is just as important as coaching ability. Brown wouldn’t be able to stand the heat. We need an assassin. Someone who wants pressure. Not many of those guys around.

Y’all have a good coach. If we both had good coaches we would be ahead of you. Are you 12?

What’s funny is Napier had a better resume than Golesh does right now and it’s not even debatable. Going the group of 5 route again is insanely stupid. You never know with those guys.

How crazy would it be if urban said he'd like to come back? What do you think the general sentiment would be?

Not sure why he’s never been mentioned - Kerwin Bell

The Throwin Mayoin led Valdosta St to a natty and is currently at Western Carolina. Also did a great job at Jacksonville U with no scholarship players

A true Gator great that knows how to win games. Of course hasn’t been in the big leagues but I think he would be cheaper than most and would bring back a culture of winning.

Receptive to it. Some skepticism if he can navigate the NIL era. he hasn't coached college since 2018. If he were hired in 2026 that would be 8 years out of the game.

Plus his health concerns would be a factor.

But after Napier a steaming pile of crap on the sidewalk would look better on our sideline and would get welcomed with open arms.

We just gonna bring up Kerwin every search huh? The dude has never had a big job for a reason and you would want to give him UF keys lol
