Are you counting on Max J to win 10 games next year ?

3 loss minimum. Your situation has not improved. Your O line is still young/inexperienced which means you won’t be able to run the ball when needed. In order for Jimbo to succeed , he has to be able to run the ball very well. His offense doesn’t establish the pass to set up the run. It’s the opposite. In case you have t watched Max, he takes a lot of sacks. A lot. He also doesn’t throw the deep ball well. Defenses will rush him and compress down until he consistently hit deep balls.

You will be a work in progress on defense. Elko’s replacement will have to implement his scheme. You lose DBs and Dline. The Dline losses will hurt the worst bc you could stop the run and get a solid pass rush without having to blitz. You will have to blitz in 2022, which will make you susceptible to the pass.

Losses—Alabama, Miss St, Ark
Possible Losses—LSU, Florida

Ole Miss loses a lot of production. They will struggle. Auburn is in a similar predicament. Three losses minimum.

So you’re betting A&M’s issues this year will be repeated next year? That’s likely not a winning bet. 3 teams I could see. 4 is wishful thinking.

No. I am counting on having Haynes King available to play and also Connor W. Max is likely not our starter for all games. Maybe some. But he won’t win the QB competition in the fall. You need to look at Connor W tape. All bull aside, the kid is the real deal. He will likely play.

Bama. Then A&M will drop a game they are supposed to win.

Okay man. You barely beat us with a backup QB. Once in 10 years. I’m not saying you will lose but where does this hubris come from?

Not saying we are world beaters. But we don’t often lose to you. And expecting us to just continue losing is a bit counter to reality.

They don’t even see it. That’s what makes it so entertaining.

No I was actually giving you credit. I don't think you guys lose to Mississippi State next season.

Not sure OP user name checks as can't validate Aggie Alumni status. Smells of a mole....

Anyway, no way in hell we go 8-4 again. We have a completely different QB room now with several solid backup options if Haynes is injured again. And YES, Haynes will absolutely be our starter regardless of what others say including Jimbo who wants to create internal competition.

This team should easily go 10-2. Two losses? Impossible to predict. Bama is clearly the highest probability. But within the West, anything can happen on any given Sat. Just know with a solid QB under center, we weren't a 8-4 team in 2020.

Laugh all you want. Dare you to save this post in an attempt to eat crow. Some seriously bad shite would have to happen for us to go 8-4 again. I would guarantee that.

All possible losses. I agree. But honestly I would put the Vegas odds in all of those games in favor of A&M.
So statistically speaking, I think they probably don’t lose all of those. But it wouldn’t shock me if you were right.

I didn’t say that. We won’t be favored against Bama. That’s insane.

No idea. It will be determined by the QB battle this Spring. We will be young but talented at many positions which is a recipe for inconsistent play

My guess is 9-3 is how a&m will finish. Should be 10-2 but they probably drop a game they should not. Who knows maybe Jimbo gets over the hump and has his first 10 win season in the SEC. The schedule sets up well for the aggies as does their crossover games in the east.

Arkansas without looking at their roster I thought had a lot of super seniors.

I think Ole Miss may end surprising people. They did this year and I would bet Lane goes hard after transfers.
