Arky wins 5 games. They have a decent QB who knows the system and enough players to win most out of conference games.

They'll win 1 SEC game max. 5-7.

That's a 150% improvement.

Last years game was an anomaly, the offense certainly put a lot on the defense. Auburns defense has finished Top 15 in Def Eff the past 2 years. This years defense will be the best of the Malzahn era and Top 5-10 Nationally. Wait til State visits Jordan Hare, 2017 all over again.

AU may win at home but the point is you guys are 2-3 VS MSU in the last 5 years, no one at MSU is or should be scared of that defense.

Okay I bet you $100 MSU cant score more than 17 against Auburn this year.

Auburn and Clemson are the only teams in CFB over the past 2 years to be top 15 in defense overall. You are basing you opinion off one bad game against MSU when the offense created nightmares for them.

Dumb post of the year. Ahem, Miss State defense was light years better than yours last year. Oh please. We had no offense and still only gave up 171 points to your 249. Get a clue.

Didn't expect to see the votes for Mizzou.

I think we need help to win the East, but have a solid chance for a 10 win season on our own

Everyone except you sees you taking a step back this year. Mullen was the best thing to ever happen to state and it's over and gone now

Mullen was not here last year when our defense was so good. Try again.

I’m literally telling you a fact, only Auburn and Clemson have finished the past 2 seasons with Top 15 defenses overall. You are making an assumption when the team was reeling and the offense had them on the field for way to many plays.

Edit: Past 3 seasons Auburn and Clemson have finished with Top 15 scoring defense. Per Chris Low on Twitter.

Hmmm, I'm thinking either Missouri or Tennessee in the East.
Arkansas in the West.

And he chalked up damn near 200 yds all by himself. Auburn’s defense gave up, and Steele refused to adjust the entire game. Auburn should have played much better than they did last year with all that talent.

Good teams can have off games. 23 pts isn’t exactly a ton when State had the ball for 70% of the game. You guys are arguing with statistics. Go watch the first game, the A&M game, the first half vs Bama and UGA. The defense kept them in the game until the offense failed to continue drives and kept them on the field.
