Who do you see leaving an SEC school in the near future?

You don't need to have a specific plan laid out (i.e. "Mack Brown retires in a year and Nick Saban takes that opening for $6M/yr), but who do you think is there to stay at his respective football program?

I can't see Miles, Saban, Spurrier, Pinkel, Richt, Sumlin or Muschamp leaving. We'll see what the four new guys on the block do, too early to speculate meaningfully. I think Mullen is gone once a better gig opens up, same with Freeze and Franklin if they keep their teams competitive.

I could see Saban giving the NFL one more shot in a few years "maybe" but he seems to have concluded he's not an NFL coach. If he wins a few more NCG and a big time school puts out tons of money, it would be hard to turn down.

Saban is ultra competitive, it would be hard for me to see him not try the NFL again within the next few years.

Muschamp back to Texas?

How much more does Spurrier have in him?

Pinkel could be gone after next season too if they don't do better than they did this season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Damontre Moore, Luke Joeckel, and Jake Matthews leave Texas A&M in the near future.

Freeze won't leave for another job. He grew up just outside of Oxford and grew up going to Ole Miss games. He has always been an Ole Miss fan and even while coaching high school has always said that Ole Miss is his dream job. He fully plans on retiring as the Ole Miss HC and living out the rest of his days in Oxford.

Born in Oxford, grew up an Ole Miss fan and said when he was a coach in high school all the way to ASU that Ole Miss was his dream job.

He's not going anywhere.

Do SEC coaches ever leave the SEC of their own accord? Urbie Meyer I guess - but he got out while the gettin' was good imho.

I think if Mullen slips even a little, MSU fans will get restless and go looking for another.

I do not see Freeze leaving his homestate of Mississippi and the gig he's wanted all his life. But then again, Ole Miss has a way of fawking-up their hires eventually. I still scratch my head over them firing David Cutcliffe. They've been stepping on their dicks since Johnny Vaught.

Mizzou might have Gary Pinkle on a short leash right now, I dunno.

I could also see that happening as well. With raised expectations every year at Bama, it's gotta be taking a bit of a toll on him.

It's going to be funny in a few years if Franklin stays at Vandy when Ole Miss and Vandy are running their respective divisions.
