I’m not saying Saban didn’t win a lot of games, but on a national level, it just wasn’t interesting or memorable to anybody outside of Alabama. It all kind of ran together. According to Cowherd, for television you need some kind of national interest.

LSU isn’t going anywhere. I love it when we beat them but they are a charter member of the SEC and a huge draw.

Miami. South Florida is a large and rapidly growing TV market. Good academics, not linked to another school like UNC. Good baseball program.
