Out of curiosity, what’s Georgia’s record against Bama the past decade?
UGA is 0-4 in past decade and 3-7 in their last ten games
UGA has an alltime win pct again bama at 36% avg vs Auburn's 42%

Ok,say you're saying not one kid you knew in 18 years went to AU because they couldn't get into UGA?BS
Its funny because you extrapolate this to every Auburn grad. I know few people that went to UGA as a back-up school, does that mean all UGA grads are rejects from other schools?
I guess so...
FWIW, UGA sent people/recruiters to take my wife and family out to dinner, along with many other things, to try and get her to come, she went Auburn.

For me I lean towards Bama. Being from Baldwin County i rarely see many UGA fans so maybe thats part of it and most of my friends are UA fans but all in all its just good fun

I think thats what it really boils down to for everyone. Just like Bama fans with UT or Auburn.

When did I saw EVERY Auburn grad?I knew multiple metro ATL kids that went to Auburn because they wanted to be in construction mgt, engineering and a couple that became pilots and others went because their parents were legacies.
I just have a hard time believing he never met one Cobb
County HS kid in 18 years that was accepted to AU and not to UGA and I know for a fact that it did happen to kids of a friend of mine who lives in E Cobb. Just saying it's extremely difficult to get accepted if you're HS student in N. Metro or even Atlanta pvt schools. The bar is much higher.Maybe he taught pre HOPE.

Believe it. First of all, there weren't many. Less than 10 that I can remember and they all went to Auburn for various reasons, none of which was a rejection letter from UGA.

I agree 100%. I know it's vary hard to get into UGA from this area. I'm just saying that Auburn isn't flooded with UGA rejects like some of the morons here like to constantly imply.

I've never taught, I've coached since 2000. I've been involved with 3 West Cobb schools. I haven't seen a lot of kids headed to Auburn anyway, but I can tell you that the ones I have personally known were recruited for athletics, gone for there for engineering, a legacy, or a good friend of a legacy.
Same goes for the Atlanta are Auburn students that were with me at Auburn in the the early-mid 90s before UGA became so competitive.

1) Beat both of them last season, lost to both this season. Is what it is, but your statement is false.

In fairness, we rarely played them in their down years, while Auburn plays them every year. But, you would be correct in saying Auburn has had more success against Alabama lately than Georgia.

This is the key. Whichever fan base you come in contact with most is the one you dislike most, because there is a greater chance of confrontation.

I've never known anybody that went to Auburn after a rejection letter from Georgia. But, I don't understand asking people who they got a rejection letter from.
Why would anybody ask somebody that? I had several friends that went to Auburn, though. I assumed they went there as their first choice and they all liked their time at Auburn.

No, it’s not.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Cobb Co. has LOTS of Auburn alum. Some are from Alabama, some are from Georgia, but couldn’t get into UGA. 100% of them now want their kids to get into UGA because it’s a better school and Auburn is very costly with OOS tuition.
I have an employee who’s an Auburn grad and was trying anything she could to get her kid into UGA. Kid had good grades, but not good enough for UGA. Went to Auburn for a year and was able to transfer to UGA.
I know of LOTS of similar stories.

Auburn grads are the experts on bags of dicks.
Do you mail the collective bags? Or noncollective bags?

Interesting.I know West Cobb probably has a different student/parent population to choose from than East Cobb. Did you know any kids that went to UGA on HOPE?

Yes, a few every year. One of our best girls was valedictorian and went to UGA. I've got at least one more this year that will be top-5 in her class.

You lost to one of them in a re-match last season for the SEC championship. Who could that have been?

No shite, Sherlock. That's a big reason why the 3k GA students are at Auburn, not because it was UGA or bust.

I don't believe you. Tuition is definitely a factor and if one had to choose one state school that's $48k less per year, it is understandable.

Again, I don't believe you. The guy wiping trays at Wendy's doesn't have employees.

They hate Georgia more. All you have to do is read some of the threads leading up to the UGA/Alabama national title game where they were openly and shamelessly rooting for Alabama to win.
