Texas has made the College World Series 50% of the time its been held, thats an incredible stat
What's even more incredible is that, in spite of all those CWS appearnces, Texas has never won more than six titles. They pretty much choke whenever LSU or USC is also at the CWS -- only one of their titles came when LSU and/or USC was also in the field. By contrast, eight of USC's titles and three of LSU's six came when Texas was at the CWS.

LSU and Texass must be top 3 or 4. Not much diff between 1 and 4 to be honest.

No, I didn’t open your links. Just gave my opinion.

Texas has almost 1,000 more wins than LSU all time and almost twice as many CWS appearances.

In the end.... they both have 6 National Championships.

"All-time" is very overrated when said program haven't done jack in 10, 20, for sure 25 years.

That said, both programs in question have great programs. Alabama does not.

LSU won a championship over Texas over a decade ago, has a more recent championship, and has a better recruiting class, apparently.

You might as well just quit. LSU is clearly more prestigious.

And they've achieved what actually... two National Championships combined?

Bragging about a baseball recruiting class ranking before the draft is a fool’s errand

Yea but how many actually make it to LSU. There are what, 3 of those 11 that are projected as 1st rounders? Listened to a bunch of my fellow OU fans rant and rave about having Witt Jr. as a commit, looked good but there wasn’t a chance in hell he was going to school.

It is a ridiculous class on paper though!

It must be tough knowing that your current baseball coach, whose team is in the CWS, would fricking crawl to Baton Rouge if he ever got the chance

In 2021, Texas won 3 games in Omaha in a span of 5 days. I'm pretty sure that was within the last 10, 20 or 25 years.

Texas A&M has not won a single game in Omaha in the last 25 years. This is an odd stance of you to take...

At least 4

That said I am willing to put LSU about SC, I think thats valid and we don't really have any arguing points.

I do put UTjr above LSU because 38 out of 75 trips is impressive, 6 titles is the same as you, more wins. etc.

I put SoCal behind LSU just because they havent done anything in my lifetime.

Exactly.

Each of Josh Holliday's nephews (Matt Holiday's sons) are both at Stillwater High School and committed to Ok State. Problem is:

Jackson Holiday, the HS senior, is projected to go Top 5 in the draft.

Ethan Holiday is a HS Freshman and he might be even better than Jackson when it's all said and done.

Recruiting rankings are extremely fickle in college baseball.

LSU could bring in less than half of the Top 100 recruits they signed and they’d still have more than any team not named Vanderbilt

It’s one of the reasons Nolan Cain begged to stay at LSU.

He literally had the chance to go to LSU last year you dumb frick. He had an offer to be LSU’s head coach. BUT he’s at OLE MISS coaching in Omaha while your no name coach who got swept by ole miss at home watches Ole Miss play in Omaha from his couch.
