i'm guessing this is a similar situation to Caleb King transferrng for his senior year.
Public schools in GA require you to pass a standardized "gateway" test to graduate high school where as private schools dont. Caleb failed the test a few times before transferring to GAC for his senior season.

yes, but Private schools most i've heard of, have you pass a standard "gateway" test to get into their school.

But, private school's have an entrance exam for entry anyway, and most students have to maintain a higher GPA than public schools.

Pillow's football coach, Michael Fair, was an All-SEC center for MSU under JWS. Maybe he is protecting MSU's assets...hhhmmmm

Unless you are on a football "scholarship".
