Why would something so stupid hit a nerve? I would think the fact that your program was so stupid as to not play a guy who put up the greatest season ever for a college QB would make you never want to mention 2019 LSU. But you likely possess that special kind of stupid.

It doesn’t matter how much butt-hurt old farts (I’m pushing 70 so I’m an old fart too, I’m just not butt hurt about any of this) complain on message boards, a regular-season slip-up by a premier team is not going to be fatal anymore. It’s going to be even more that way when the playoffs go to 16 games and conference championship games disappear.
