I almost feel sorry how bad auburn is at football. Getting dominated by their rivals in the rivalry history. And now they are at home. While their daddy and stepdaddy is in the playoffs.. woe eagle woe

2 more recent heismans, but who is counting? certainly not you.

Really? Heismans are what makes a program great, or not?

Give me Championships and wins on the field over Heisman's every single time.

I disagree. The players being recruited now have seen Auburn win the NC. Nobody cares about National Championships from that long again and pretty soon the 2010 one will seem like ancient history.

Let’s me real, players now who were 10 when AU won the title don’t even care.

Recruiting is all about getting them to the NFL, depth charts, and winning now... that’s literally it.

you're uga poster friend is the one that incorrectly listed the number of heisman trophies.

ftr, I only care about what I have seen in my lifetime. I do not care about football history.

I have to imagine it would be Georgia, right? Especially for Auburn people.

Why, if we were Bama Fans we could claim another NC if either wins.

If you do have one, you couldn't find it with a pair of tweezers and a porn actress holding a magnifying glass for you.

That would give their team credibility by beating the two teams in the big game, plus beating the team that beat one of the teams that beat them.

Wtf? Don't do that again.

UGA easily. If Bama wins it's another drop in the bucket. If UGA wins everyone loses the "since 81" or whatever line and all associated troll posts

You think people care about one won 10 years ago....soon to be 11?

18 year olds were 7 then? I promise most of those guys were not watching college football and understanding it at that age.

ETA
I understand you were giving your opinion, and just because I have a different one does not make yours wrong. I just think most kids care what happened in the last 2-3 years. Most of them couldn't tell you the 4 teams that were in the playoffs 2 years ago, and they might remember last years participants.

This is what I am thinking. Now, they might know and even care that a team has several recently, like Alabama, but not one from 10-11 years ago....or 5 years ago, for that matter.

Again, it is only my opinion.

I think his point was it really doesn't give anybody an edge.

I do care about history, actually. I remember watching Tony Dorsett, Dan Marino, Johnny Rodgers, John Elway in college. I loved watching the Bowl Games on TV....so I guess my love of the history stems from that, and I guess that does validate your point, from the perspective, that those were in my lifetime.

I know. After I typed it, I thought, "No way in the world anybody is going to be able to decipher that!"
I decided to go ahead and hit "Submit" anyway to see if anybody would say anything.

How else am I going to know if anybody out there reads my posts?

Forget that. If Bama wins, its business as usual. If Georgia wins the bastards will become even more insufferable.

I didn't incorrectly list shite, you just chose a very odd thing to get rustled over.

"Bama has a more recent SEC title than Auburn"

I suppose you think that sentence is incorrect as well, Webster?
