If Jalston Fowler runs like he did against OM, Dee Hart = pre-knee tear, Lacy stays injury free, and Yeldon keeping the momentum from his A-Day performance. Holy shite. There is no question, that the 'Bama RB Corp could be very special next year. Potential to be the greatest RB Corp ever. IMO. Will they live up to it I'm not sure but their OLine is there, that's for sure.

Alright boys, shake your dicks. This pissing contest needs to be over. It is just going to continue to be Alabama for Alabama and LSU for LSU. We will see this season. My grandfather used to tell me whenever people would trash talk, "Talk is cheap, there is a reason you play the game."

meh. Just friendly banter. I think both teams will have a great RB stable.

Just a prediction thread. It's nice to actually be able to talk about stuff with the flames to a minimum.

Since this is a prediction thread the 4 finalists for the Doak Walker, Maxwell, and Heisman will be Lacy, Yeldon, Hart, and Fowler. AJ will get in a lawn chair in pistol formation and just flip the ball to whoever is behind him. LSU's running backs will not cross the 50 again and quit before the bama game and get baked with Leslie.

I'm getting in on this reaaly late, but how anyone can say Bama's gonna have a better running back corps than LSU is just a homer.

LSU has 5 RBs that saw action last season, 4 of them got significant yards.

Bama has two that have seen the field in a real game. I don't give a crap how badass some former HS phenom was in the A-Day Game, he has yet to prove it on the field in the fall.

LSU had a guy named Richard Murphy. Everyone loved him and each spring he would run circles around the defense, but somehow that never translated to success on Saturdays.

Until they do, they'll just have to have rings made to prove how great they were in practice.

Not really...the argument is the same, just at different positions. With that said, LSU's RBs 'should' be better than ours. Much like LSU's claim in '09 that JJ 'should' be better than G-Mac.

Their stats were similar in 09 and JJ was a true sophomore.

Why didn't Mett get the ball in NOLA in January, then? You said he's vastly supperior. Either he's not as great as you seem to think, or your HC is an idiot.

Bruh you aren't this stupid are you? Every coach in America put experience over hype/ talent at the qb position. Even Lord Saban when he sat J. Russel for Marcus Randal.

4 proven running backs vs 2 backups to trent and 2 Thant haven't even played.

Yet i won't be surprised to see Bama fans being Bama fans...

All the backs could switch teams and you wouldn't notice any change.. Same stats, same impact.. It mostly comes down to te similar offensive philosophies..

He's coming off an injury though. I doubt he will be as dominant as before. Before he went down he was our best guard. Now idk.
