1-3 going into Dallas. Hope that I'm wrong. Was it 1-2? Much better.

We had a terrible time with Tenneessee from the beginning until the turn of the century, going 2-19 with 3 ties. We hardly ever played them but that is pretty abysmal. However,
since 2000 we are 6-2 against them and I still think they have never been the same since we upset them in 2001 SEC championship with backup QB Mauck. They would have made their second BCS championship if they would have won, and they havn't been close since. Is it possible LSU stole their football souls that Dec. night in Atlanta?

Y'all even struggled to win against Dooley and if that dimwit could've counted y'all would've lost (in retrospect I'm sorta glad you won because every loss hastened the idiot's demise) but he managed to outdo Les when it comes to the inexplicable - counting and time management among many other things were not Dooley's forte.

That game was a real heartbreaker for us because we won then we suddenly lost for no reason other than stupidity (that happened more than once that season - against UNC it they were penalized team and benefited from it and the NCAA actually changed the rules because of that). And little did we know that what we saw against LSU Bowl in terms of time management and simple counting would plague us the entire time Doofus was here - every single year of that disaster.

Even when he wasn't screwing up that man was cursed - worst luck I've ever seen.

So strange but it's true. And for all the crap we get (and I realize we've flatout sucked the past few years) no other team has beaten Bama more than us. Bastards are leading the series though - by how much depends on whether you factor in the NCAA.

If we're talking strictly SEC teams, then no one is Bama's daddy. If we're talking all teams, then Notre Dame and Texas would be our daddy.

my stats say it's 35-42-1....and considering more than 50 of those games were in so-called "neutral" birmingham, i'm hardly ashamed at that record.

anyway, i'd say auburn is south carolina's daddy, since they've had bragging rights since 1933....

How does Florida get away with forcing Georgia to play in Jacksonville, and how did Bama get away with forcing Auburn to play in Birmingham?

There is no forcing. WLOCP is a huge benefit to both programs , recruiting and monetarily. They will never move this game ; neither school wants it moved.

They probably like it more than we do since they get the whole week off from school. There's no shortage of Georgia alum/fans here too.
