The answer to the OP is South Carolina, IMO.

I see your logic and it makes sense but really they have no expectations. I think the best test for loyalty is a mix of high expectations but willing to stick with their team through thick and thin. I may have to submit Georgia using this reasoning as a better choice.

Texas

Their program stinks but they still fill a very large stadium. They are even adding seats.

Inside the SEC I would say South Carolina. Nationally it's Nebraska

Hell. Anyone can be a fan of Alabama, Georgia, or LSU. I mean, really. How hard could that be?

You want a challenge? A real, challenge? Be a loyal Razorback or a loyal Gamecock fan.

That's a hell of a challenge.

Ole Miss and it’s not even close. Zero outright division titles, zero appearances in Atlanta and we’re still here. If that’s not loyalty then I don’t know what is.

Charleston is a shite hole. I was unfortunate enough to live in Charleston for 2 years back in the 90's. Horrible. Little Manhattan with none of the charm of Manhattan. There are 5 coastal towns in Florida alone which surpass Charleston in every aspect, Wilmington is better, Savannah is about on par. The entire coast of SC falls short of any coast north of Myrtle Beach to New Jersey and South of Savannah including the entirety of the Gulf Coast including Texas. The Pacific coast is far better than the SC coast and it ain't close to anything south of Brunswick and the entire gulf coast. Greenville is a far better area of SC than Charleston.

I can tell you who it ain’t: Auburn

I’ve never seen any fanbase grab pitchforks and torches faster than Auburn fans. Not all, mind you. We have our share of sunshine pumpers that will support no matter what, I should know, I’m one of them. But our contingent of bandwagon fans seems bigger and more intense than others. If it were up to them, we would have fired every coach we’ve ever had right in the middle of the season...I suppose to teach them a lesson of what we won’t tolerate around Auburn.

I was going to LSU games during the 90’s! Anyone who did that I’d say is pretty damn loyal!

I was at every single game during our 0-21 stretch as were 80k other Gamecocks. Sold out every single home game and still travelled well.

Nobody else can say that bc nobody else has had two absolutely winless seasons back to back since we joined the SEC to know.

I was gonna go out on a limb and say a1abama fans, but there's no way to validate that... because I'm sure a vast majority are fans just because they're winning.
