Don't you need fans to have loyal fans? Vandy home games turn into road games in basically every SEC game they play

No. No we don't. Wanna switch histories?

I didn't think so.

They may not be the sharpest tools in the shed, but i think Tennessee attendance has remained great through their last 15 years of suffering

All SEC schools have lots of very loyal fans. I have always respected State fans because their teams have given them so little to be happy about. BUt, in all my trips to Starkville since the 1980s, their fans always show up.

Personally, I think because the university has made it so easy to go to a game. Not to mention, tickets are generally cheap, and tailgating is a logistical dream, unlike a lot of schools in the league. There's just so much convenience built into our gameday atmosphere. Junction is right outside the stadium and the bars are a half a mile walk away. Cliche as it is, State games really feel like family and class reunions. When your team isn't great and you still have fun, it's hard to break the habit of going as much as you can. Given our history, winning is simply lagniappe for State fans. You can poke fun at that, but it's why our conference and our people are so great.

They don't even show up to games. I don't think you can say they are loyal when they are indifferent about the situation

I vote SC

We built the East upper after going 4-7 in 98. I had a lot of fun in the 99 season running up and down the aisles yelling “Stop the construction!” with a bag over my head as we had another losing season.

Your years are off. The construction and losing season were both in '97. We won the SEC in '99 although we did lose to La Tech.

I don’t care if it’s 1 or 1 million. Any Vandy football fan that shows up for a Vandy football game is one loyal muthafricka.

I said what I said.
