We thought the same thing in 2015 and had Wisconsin on the ropes until we slowed tempo and choked. That UK team was better than this year's Gonzaga team.

Towns, Lyles, Booker, Cauley-Stein, Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, Tyler Ulis and Dakari Johnson have all been on NBA rosters for at least some period with the first four still active. They lost after winning 38 games in a row. So anyone can lose. I know from painful experience.

Anyone can be beaten.

Which SEC teams can beat Gonzaga? No.8 seed Kentucky beat undefeated Wichita State in 2014. Take that as guidance.

Petty comes back with his sideshow Bob haircut and wreaks havoc on the tournament.

Saw them. Not impressed. Their schedule also sucks. They will not win the national title.

You lost by 13 points to our worst team in almost a century.

So yes, anyone can be beaten.

That UK team was better than most in the history of the tournament era. For sure NBA talent-wise. But that UW team was damn good, and had the payback factor on their side a la Duke vs UNLV in 1991

Maybe it’s semantics, but I don’t think teams like Mizzou and Florida can “realistically” beat Gonzaga.

They could get really lucky and have multiple guys have career type games, but that’s not realistic.

LSU and Tennessee is probably pushing it too, but LSU could theoretically get big games from their big four, and Tennessee can defend and possibly have their freshmen go nuts.

Don’t let the 4 nba draft picks, solid experienced role players, and great coach fool you. This Gonzaga team is very meh. Lol.

IMO they're a great team.

They're just not the GOAT team as some have started to crown them. I'd easily say the '96 UK team and at least one of Donovan's Florida NC teams are better.

They won't. They don't play any competition and they have the burden of being undefeated.

Lol Gonzaga has a terrible tournament history. They will get beat soundly by someone.

They certainly played some teams and they won pretty much every game with room to spare.

Their last 5 tournaments

2015 - Elite 8 (2 seed)
2016 - Sweet 16 (11 seed)
2017 - National Runner Up (1 seed)
2018 - Sweet 16 (4 seed)
2019 - Elite 8 (1 seed)

The last 3 times they were #1 or #2 seeds they went Elite 8, National Title Game, Elite 8
