I want a real all white LSU combination. No hint of tiger stripes on the helmet and excessive purple under the armpits. Just good ole white britches, usual white jersey, and that badass white helmet.

Petrino preferred a more "cutting edge" and "trendy" uniform that the kids would like. He did the same thing at Louisville including adding a form of black as an alternate jersey at both stops.

Yeah he is big on alternate uniforms and letting the players give input on what to wear. He talked about it a couple times while he was hear.
Personally, I would rather leave the jersey design decisions up to the people that are going to be here longer than a couple of years.
