i’ll dumb it down for you as the point is simple.
bama won the ap and coaches poll in 64. every school in history that has done so has claimed the ship when this happens.
yet butthurt arky fans are saying somehow claiming 1964 is a reach for bama. the only reach is obviously coming from the arkansas side. the trophies are in tuscaloosa. come see em some time.

That's not what a response thread is. This wasn't a thread in response to that, especially 9 years after I saw it the first time. If I'm going to respond to a thread, I always respond in the thread. Look at my topic history, this is like my 5th thread ever started in 8 years.
It did however inspire me to do some research and create a list with all the schools. It's the offseason, I figured it would be good thread.
Is there ever a time in your life when you aren't trying to figure out a way to be a bitch?

Honestly, I don’t see how anyone can call it a response thread, either. Perhaps the other topic got you thinking about this variant, but saying it’s a response thread is a big stretch at best.

Ask most college football fans which they would rather have, an AP and Coaches national championship or a FWAA national championship?
Alabama has 7 FWAA Grantland Rice trophies. But, unlike Arkansas, the AP awarded their trophy to Alabama for the same years.
