Missouri is nowhere close to where it was when it first came to the SEC. You went to Atlanta in your early years. Now you hope that Vandy isn’t too tough each season.
No one would take you. You’d have to go to the G5.
In the SEC you get money and support to build yourself back up.

AD = athletic department in this context, you man-boobed moron.
MSU has several healthy sports programs. That’s a “good enough AD” in my book compared to a lot of the ADs out there.

Missouri fired the head coach! Also the whole offensive coaches are gone. Offense will be a lot better. You didn't do your research that Missouri cleaned up the problem with offense and the head coach failed to get the offense going. That is why missouri is moving in the right direction with this new head coach. A say it is a homerun hire for Missouri. Many were surprise he is recruiting better and it will take 1 year to get top Missouri recruits to go to Mizzou. Last head coach failed to do that. That is another reason why he was fired.

Tennessee would slide into the ACC and renew its rivalry with GT and UNC. They would fit in with basketball, baseball, and football on day 1. They already recruit the region well, would be a natural rival for Vatech and Virginia.

The Vols would gain nothing but would be a huge boon to the ACC. The only way it would happen would be if tv money was the same.

If this is true....

but the truth is most of the country has forgotten about Ole Miss’s history, and they only know them as a party/football school.

Then this is irrelevant

It wouldn’t be irrelevant if Ole Miss were to try to join another big conference. It would 100% get brought up by thirsty journalists.

Toss-up between the following:
Vandy: Would lose a lot of athletic revenue with no hope of joining a good conference and would have to shutter healthy programs they are actually good at such as baseball, sometimes basketball, and the more niche sports.

Ole Miss: They could maybe swing another P5 conference based on athletic performance, but they would likely end up being pariahs of those conferences with some of their unsavory history. Their fans and students would absolutely not fit in with another conference and they would eventually just wind up in whatever conference Southern Miss plays in.

Missouri
Without the motivation of SEC competition they would fall into complete irrelevancy

Tenn
Could swing a P5 conference but no one in that conference would give a shite about their “history”, and UTenn would quickly become irrelevant,

You're insane if you don't think the ACC would pick up Vandy and Tennessee in a heartbeat. And yes, they'd care about our history although much like you their fans would pretend not to.

Mizzou would find a spot in the B1G.

IDK, where OM or State could go other than whatever conference Memphis is in. But that conference only needs 1 or 2 decent teams to truly rally for p5 status.

Saw this and thought the same. What a maroon...What an ultra-maroon*.

*According to the Urban Dictionary, a “Maroon” is a term made famous by Bugs Bunny meaning a pushover or one easily fooled. A dope, fool, idiot, or nincompoop. An unbelievably stupid person. In short, a Mississippi State fan.
