LSU without question. Always have a good time down in Baton Rouge.

Kentucky fans were the best by far. Made us feel like royalty. Believe it or not my worst experience was at Vandy. While waiting on my wife to go to the restroom, this old arse Vandy fan who looked like a 75 year old homeless guy starts dogging my arse out about Vanderbilt being a place of learning while Bama was just a football factory. All I could say over and over was no shite Sherlock what an advanced sense of perception you have. Drove his old arse so bat shite crazy that I agreed with him the usher finally asked him to leave. frickin Vanderbilt!

We're headed to Baton Rouge in November and I'm hoping to have some of the awesome experiences described in this thread.
It might be kinda tense in Baton Rouge this year, it is a night game.

Kentucky. Fans tailgating beside the stadium invited us to stop and eat and drink with them. Great folks.

The only bad experience I've ever had with an SEC fan base was a dude from LSU (early thirties) screaming tiger bait in my gf's face AFTER the national championship game. Fortunately, the guy's friends grabbed him and apologized before shite went down.
This type of thing happened to me. Some hammered Bama fan started talking shite to me when I was separated from my friends. We were surrounded by cops and bama fans so there wasn't much I could do. Then 2 of his huge friends came over and I thought I was about to get a beat down, but they pulled him away from me and apologized

My best AND worst is LSU fans. The T shirt fans are just horrible, they reached a peak in the last few years of Saban...but are starting to really return. On the other hand, I have never had a bad time at Tiger Stadium ( outcome of games notwithstanding). About the best food at any SEC venue, are very open with sharing liquor and food and the tiger baiting is in good spirit. I have called the Hogs over and over at visiting fans, so I figure turn about is fair play.
Worst actual stadium.experience was olemiss right after the first Nutt Cotton bowl. You would think the whole fan base won the fricking lottery the year before or something. That turned out pretty good from my perspective though...

Tennessee was a fun visit last year. I got the vibe it was only because they knew a raping was about to ensue though.
This is the key with several fan bases.
Worst ever by far was Ole Miss in Eli's last year when they were good and actually had a shot to win the west. Every low hanging fruit in the state must have been out there that day. I have never seen so many sorostitutes (young and old) and men dog cuss women wearing purple and gold. I almost got in a fight waiting in line to get in the stadium with a dude that had a kid on his shoulders. Awful experience and I will never return to that douche haven.

This!
I actually went to that game with a buddy of mine. The fans were unreal. I've never cheered for a team other than Tennessee so hard in my life.

One much older fan in his 60's actually came over and apologized to my wife for the entire fan base. He said he did'nt know what the frick had gotten into these people.

Well, we sat fairly close to the student section. We had great seats (Eli tripped right in front of us) but we were surrounded by alumni. If you were at that game, you could understand why they hung a SEC west championship banner that year.

Tennessee's campus/surroundings are awesome and I love it there. Bama is a good time too but the people at Ole Miss were by far the most hospitable and fun to hang out with...probably because they know they will get their shite rocked and are just there to party beforehand. The women there also have a lot to do with my assessment

In 2006 we were playing UGA at 6 and I opened I 5th of wild turkey at noon. Alot, not all but alot, of UGA fans were constantly talking shite in the Grove all day before the game.
The game was close and headed into the 4th qtr. When the 3rd qtr ended me and one of my boys go to get one last drink (I had finished the 5th) and take a piss.
We decided to take a piss first. We are standing a few urinals apart and some UGA fan is talking shite, "yea well its a ball game now but our depth is about to show, the asskicking is coming."
Well my buddy simply says, "man, after how we played last week I am just happy to be in the game."
Next thing I know, and I am wasted arse drunk mind you, the UGA fan sucker punch's my buddy while he is zipping up his pants at the damn urinal. He hits the ground and the uga fan is standing over him as if he is some bad arse, dude didnt know that I was with the guy he just smoked in the face.
I procede to crow-hop this kid in the upper lip/nose region. Knocked his arse out. Without question the best connection Ive ever made in my life and the best part of it all, and I put this on my Maybach, is that he fell through a stall door that wasnt quite locked enough and into the lap of a gentleman trying to have a pleasant BM at an SEC game. No shite.
UGA fan is just barely conscious while the dumper is freaking out and gettin all pissed. Meanwhile I help my buddy up, blood everywhere, his lip looks like you took a pair of scissors to it. Next thing I know I am talking to security about what happened and they call us an ambulance. Dont know if they arrested the UGA fan but he was def being escorted our of the stadium when I last saw him.
My buddy had to get 9 stitches in his lip and was mildly concussed from his head hitting the ground.
For a while I HATED all UGA fans but I know that that's no way to be. There are bad apples in every bunch. But there are definitely some a-hole UGA folks.

thanks for sharing though

Fla. fans are the worst by far, and I am talking bout several generations of them as I am in my 60's. But their cops & marshalls are as bad as the fans. ANY disturbance in the stands is always the visitors' fault & they are the ones arrested and/or kicked out of the stadium. The whole experience, for a visiting fan, is horrible.AU fans are a fun group, as are the UT fans.

1. Bama
2. Ole Miss
Worst - LSU - I have a degree from there and a lot of the stuff I watched the fans did to opposing team fans was just embarrassing.

frick'em. I know after the game they were throwing those damn cardboard Ole Miss trash cans at any vehicle that had an LSU flag or magnet on it. I guess if you have'nt won shite since the 60's and they new this was their last best hope until Peyton or Eli has a son that goes there it was life or death to them. Turrible just turrible.

I'm an LSU fan and I've never understood why people think tiger bait is a big deal. It's not like a personal attack other people have been describing.
