It's a true wonder that Miss St. has lasted this long.

Football is the highest tier sport by far but it isn't the only sport. Teams that haven't done well in football have done well in other sports.

Hopefully Mizzery and Gay & ‘em will be the first to go.

Do you not realize most Cowboy fans actually wish our QB was NOT from MSU (by virtue of not paying market setting money for a QB who can't win the big ones)?

That's an interesting legal theory and one that I'm sure we would all be willing to test to see if it's actually airtight and true, or more of folklore and "gentlemen's agreement".
At anyrate, you can think of Daddy Texas like a PE firm. We are here and we are assessing the football portfolio companies and there is one obvious, pathetic, outlier. It is in a poor, illiterate state with welfare queens (who have the decency to be middle aged rural folk with band aids on their ear, but wholly dependent on the state for their livlihood nonetheless) and they are an embarrassment on the field. Exhibit A: Toledo.
I think we cut the underperforming business unit and do an SEC share buyback and divy up their cut of the money back to the remaining PortCo's and let's make sure to put Auburn on notice and start managing them out of the business next. The TAM for Alabama (aka Mississippi Jr.) just doesn't support two teams.

The best French food I’ve ever had believe it or not was in East Memphis.

Vandy is the only private school. For legal cover the SEC isn't letting them go anywhere.
Vandy being private provides no legal cover. That's a false notion.

Not sure what the BIG10 needs to do, but SEC needs to go back to:
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
LSU
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
This, with nine conference games so that everybody plays everybody else each year.
